My favorite fried chicken. Friendly crew and good service right off I40. Bathrooms were a little whiffy, but all in all a convenient pit stop for traveling humans and vehicles, especially since it shares its location with a gas station.
Our family pulled through this restaurant traveling home to Florida and was treated horribly! The staff wouldn't make eye contact with us and was asking as little questions as possible so we kept having to ask to add things. They acted like we were completely beneath them and didn't want to help us. They got our order all wrong and we tried to get their attention and they were all ignoring us. The girl came over to see what we wanted finally and didn't care that it was wrong and basically tossed our stuff at us. This was shocking to us and very sad that they were being so very hateful. People need to be kind to one another because this world is too messed up as it is. I will tell others about this because maybe they will go into this Popeyes and get them to be better examples to other families that come through. Racism is cruel. We are all equals ❤
The place was a filthy mess. The workers were rude, except the cashier, she was friendly. They only had spicy chicken, french fries, and coleslaw. They got mad when you wanted to order anything else on the menu. Here's an idea, "If you can't serve 80% of the items on your menu, close up shop!" If all you have is a limited menu, offer some discounts or, at least, be nice to your customers. Sadly, the chicken was old, and the french fries were dried out and nasty.
