Highly not recomendet especially if u have kids. Was so nasty. The toilet was so dirty the beds were used and dirty and also found a needle on the floor. We got move to 2 diferent rooms and first one some one was already staying there and the other one looked like someone has been there for a while and has not been clean. Beds were nasty full of hairs and stains. We asked for a refund we did not sleep there we had paid $55 gave us back "$39" but next day we were still charge $55 on the ocount. Please look at custo.ers pictures.
I wish that I could start out with something positive to say about this hotel, but sadly I cannot.
If you choose to stay here after reading this review I wish you well.
This is one nasty place.
Checked in and there was a suspicious guy sitting in the check in area. Gave the impression of being a pimp. Lady walks in behind me as I'm checking in and the clerk seems to know her as they exchanged greetings, "hey girl." "Hey!" Yeah, I'm thinking prostitution ring here, but we were exhausted. The sheets were stained as were the towels and wash cloths. Save yourself some time and book elsewhere. Nasty doesn't even begin to describe be it. There seemed to be some type of party above us. Sounded like a gymnastics team up there all night long!!!
We are frequent guests in Forrest City because of family, so we've been to many motels and hotels in town. This stay was full of inconvenience and things that concerned us, so I think we'll be staying somewhere else next time. Our first night, we stayed in a room with a tv that didn't work, a hair dryer that didn't work, a fridge that didn't work, no coffee maker ("we have one ordered"), no breakfast as advertised (due to a "power outage"), and -- most frighteningly -- the broken smoke detector hidden in the nightstand. It's a violation of federal law for a guest room to be without a working smoke detector, and this is especially scary since the memory of a major hotel fire just around the corner a few years ago is still fresh. The worker at the desk was mildly surprised, but offered no solution. We requested a new room, but when we stopped by to exchange our room keys the room had been given to another guest. The next room they gave us had stains on the sheets and no coffee maker, so we asked for another one. The next room was better than the first, but there was trash in the floor, still no coffee maker, and the shower knob was broken. We decided we weren't going to get a clean, fully functioning room at this inn.. So we gave up and dealt with it. The frustration wasn't over, of course. We asked for clean towels but were told that the housecleaning staff didn't wash any. I should note that the housekeepers appeared to be using stolen grocery carts instead of the usual hotel housekeeping carts to carry supplies and laundry. What kind of business owner allows (or perhaps encourages or requires) their staff to use stolen equipment on the job? I'm disappointed that guest safety is an afterthought, and I'm disappointed that they're okay with advertising amenities that they can't provide. I can say that many (not all) of the front desk workers were friendly and helpful, and we checked all of our beds thoroughly but found no bedbugs. We'll be staying at a competitor next time.
Some Inns will offer great value for your money. Unfortunately, this is not the case with this Americas Best Value location. We were on our way back to Texas from Tennessee and decided to book a room at this location just for some hours before resuming our road trip. Here are some pointers: Cover yourself with insect repellent. I found a small sign at the lobby mentioning the mosquito as the official bird of Arkansas and boy they were not kidding. On our way into the room, we found several small blood splatters on the walls. Shortly after we noticed these annoying blood suckers flying along the roof and walls. If more than one brave soul will be staying, ask for free extra towels at the lobby as they initially provide for just one. If you missed the 70's you will love this room! Musky smelling carpet floors, an used bar soap with pubic hairs left as a souvenir, non-working fisher-price looking hairdryer are some of the amenities our $57 per-night room had to offer. On the plus side, free ice was available, bed was comfortable and the lady at the front desk was very nice and courteous. Overall it provides a cheap, unclean alternative to crash overnight, get some rest and move along.
We mentioned to the manager these things he was not inclined to be helpful. He even told us they had already ordered a smoke detector although he did not even know what room we were in. I am fairly convinced that was a lie.
When my family checked in we found crumbs on the floor from a prior guest, bathroom that was utterly discussing, SMOKE ALARM DISCONNECTED and left in floor, TV did not work, fridge did not work, no coffee pot, no breakfast as advertised, etc.
