We turned around and drove back to hotel and showed owner pics of hairs on bed. She then said we were lying and those pics were not her beds! Really????
The room was much nicer than I expected, with comfy beds and decent decor. However, the toilet bowl was mildewed (but no odor) and there was dust on the remote. It appeared that this particular room had not been rented in a while.
5 total guests from 5 rooms walked out, which the owner blatently admitted, and she will probably charge each guest who left. BEWARE!
Room was very clean and fairly modern bed was very comfortable and clean ac worked well and they take pets also included fridge. Staff was very nice. Area seemed quiet as well. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was ice machine was in hot room and slightly melted and it looks like it needs to be replaced and is probably why there was no ice bucket in the room. But all in all would definitely stay again.
On the plus side, the place was quiet, the water was hot, and the staff was courteous. I'd say the value was average. I would stay here again.
Clean. Nice, large grassy lot on one side for pets. No carpet in rooms, which is a plus for a pet-friendly hotel. Good price. Good location. Good value!
Not good area! Room also was not clean. Had many hairs from previous guests all over bed. When owner was confronted, she stated 5 guests walked out requesting refunds complaining of dirty rooms. She agreed not to charge us stating she would need to deal with housekeeping. We decided to leave and received a voicemail informing us we would be charged. I saw at least 10 hairs on bed and some were in tangles all without even pulling back sheets!
My husband and I stayed the night here traveling from Tennessee to Texas. It's reasonably priced and right off the highway. There are several restaurants and fast food places nearby. It's currently being remodeled. Our room was really clean and nice. We would definitely stay here again.
